Taiwan

Trip taken: March 21st – April 1st, 2018. Well, I think it’s safe to say procrastination has hit me hard in 2018. Finally posting about my trip to Taiwan back in March! What can I say, the trip was emotional, happy, and full of fun times. Got to be reunited. Be a part of a magical wedding. And visit family again.

Also got to meet so many new people! When you’re international, you have friends everywhere. I have to say, everyone looked SO DAMN GOOD.

Yoko and JC’s wedding at the Mandarin Oriental in Taipei! Photos by the talented Allen Fu.

Glad I got to try a lot of new foods this time. Usually when I go back to Taiwan, I always go to the same spots to eat the same things, but I ventured out this time to try more goodies and they did not disappoint!

Sorry that it took me so long to come visit you, Grandma. But you’re resting peacefully now. And I’m glad I got to see you one last time. Visited a very modern buddhist temple. And took time off to relax in a hot springs in Beitou, which caused me to be put into a deep sleep as I took a taxi back to the city.

A couple days in Hsinchu to visit more family. Caught some end of the season cherry blossoms. It’s always a good time visiting Taiwan. I’m so glad I got to see so many people this trip. Can’t wait until next time!

Here’s a video I made of the trip! Enjoy! 🙂
