Trip taken: September 19th – 22nd, 2018

My 5th trip this year! Short but sweet trip to sunny Los Angeles where the traffic is horrendous but the weather is amazing. I could spend all day on the beaches there.

I got there and we immediately hit up The Broad to check out Yayoi Kusama’s Inifinity Mirrored Room – The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away. Got food from bustlin’ Grand Central Market and then headed to Anaheim for Mickey’s Halloween Party!

Started out in California Adventure and rode Soarin’ Around the World, Grizzly River Run, Incredicoaster. Got margaritas and ate our little gourmet snack packs we bought at Wal-Mart. Kinda bummed we didn’t really get to see the Cars Land area. It looked awesome at night and the ride would’ve been so fun. Next time!

We then rushed over to Disneyland to try and squeeze in more rides. Riding on some of the rides a little buzzed was a lot more fun. Those margaritas got to us, at least it did for me. Haunted Mansion was The Nightmare Before Christmas themed. We got to trick-or-treat like little kids. Rode Space Mountain. Saw fireworks and the night time parade. I love Disney 🙂

Drove to Malibu and hit up Malibu Wines to day drink. Tried two flights, one red, one white and ended up getting a bottle of white to sip on. It was super chill there. But it was a Thursday, so it was pretty nice having the whole place to ourselves basically. Had Korean BBQ at Quarters. Damn. That was so good BBQ. No wonder it’s always about an hour wait.

Spent a much needed relaxing day at Manhattan Beach. This area is adorable. The beach is really clean and the surrounding beach houses make me want to move here so bad. Napped, drank, ate, people watched. It was the perfect way to end the trip.
