Grand Canyon, Arizona

Arizona Day 5 – Grand Canyon – 4/22/2015

Stopped at the Cameron Trading Post before the Grand Canyon and tried the famous Navajo Fry Bread. Which they called Indian tacos. Meh. Nothing too special there.

Along the drive to Grand Canyon, we made a whole bunch of pit stops whenever there was a viewpoint. This is the Little Colorado River Gorge viewpoint. Was pretty much our first view of the Grand Canyon and it already took my breath away.

Our next stop as we finally entered into the Grand Canyon National Park was Desert View where the famous Watchtower landmark is. Some guide said that this view is the view where you can probably see the most of Grand Canyon out of the whole park.

The view from up on the Watch Tower. Seemed a bit cloudy. Later we found out it was due to the pollution.

I actually had to build up some courage to step out onto that lone rock. But got this great view. Worth it~

Words cannot describe the vastness that is the Grand Canyon.

It got COLD. Definitely dress up in layers and make sure you got a good, wind-proof jacket.

I have to give credit to my friend, Brian. Who took the majority of the pictures here. He’s got a photographic eye! 🙂
