September 7th, 2016: When we arrived in SF, the weather was so nice. Turns out that it was the hottest day of the week at 70 something. Stay at the Post Hotel which was only a 5 minute walk from Union Square so naturally, that was the first place we went. The Apple store was cool with these long sliding doors/windows. Felt so open inside with a second floor open to the public to work/charge your phone.

People watching from the second floor of the Apple store.

Huge screen showing the city of SF.

Yes 🙂

Next stop: Nike store. All 6 floors of it.

They had a cool Lebron art dedication at the very top floor. All these images pieced together turned into a flying Lebron.

BOOM.

And thus begins our climb to Chinatown.

So many hilly streets.

DON’T FORGET YOUR SMILE 🙂

Good Mong Kok Bakery – They had some very good Shu Mai.

Lots of street art/murals in Chinatown

Kitty guarding the store.

We didn’t plan on coming here but we walked into a alley and there it was.

Freshly baked fortune cookies, with no fortune.

Portsmouth Square Plaza where people play Chinese chess, card games and ladies doing their walking exercise.

Just a local park in the middle of the city filled with Chinese people.

Walked out of Chinatown and we begin to see changes in the neighborhood.

Turned out to be Little Italy in Northbeach. Cafes everywhere with tables on the sidewalk.

Saints Peter and Paul Church at Washington Square Park. This was a really nice area where lots of people took their dogs to play around with other dogs.

Sotto Mare – 6 West coast and 6 East coast oysters. The East coast were a bit sweeter and the West coast were saltier but both good flavor.

Cioppino! A delicious tomato seafood stew that basically had everything in it. Crab, shrimp, squid, clams, scallops, and penne pasta. I loved this!

The wait was very long though for the Cioppino.

City Lights Books

Being cultured.
