September 8th, 2016: Fresh start to another adventurous day with Philz Mint Mojito Iced Coffee and a Spinach and Feta Croissant. Delicious coffee.

Bay Bridge

Hello Gandhi

Since so many people have told us about this place we decided to give it a try right when they opened! Hog Island Oyster in the Ferry building. We were the second in line and got good seats with an awesome view. Hog Island oysters were salty, mild and SO GOOD.

Clam chowder was very buttery and the soup was thin and light. Came packed with lots of potatoes and fresh clams.

Soft shell crab sandwich in a bed of delicious greens which I couldn’t tell what it was.

Starting our walk along the Embarcadero to Pier 39.

Pier 7

The problem with traveling with just two people, you don’t ever have that many pictures together.

Great view of SF from Pier 7

I really wanted to check out the Exploratorium but sadly, it just didn’t fit our schedule. I love interactive science museums!

Went to check out the Aquarium of the Bay instead. It’s a small aquarium but packed with lots of sea creatures.

A swirling cylinder tank of Anchovies greeted us.

Hi Patrick!

We found both Nemo and Dory here.

Sea Otters are SO CUTE. Super smart and playful.

The sea lions of Pier 39. Not as smelly as the sea lions at La Jolla, San Diego.

Had no idea that Ghirardelli Chocolate originated from SF.

Finally, a picture together 🙂
