Convertible top down riding weather! Perfect for Cali adventures!
Anaheim Packing House District – cool warehouse type feel with lots of food vendors inside selling anything and everything. Food looks and smells delicious. Wish we could’ve spent some more time in there to actually try something, but next time for sure!
Don’t look at my test!
Interesting things all around the place.
Even a kid riding a giant tractor.
Palm trees and pretty skies for days!
3 palm trees
Two big roosters greet you at the entrance.
Strolling through downtown Anaheim.
Yes, A for Anaheim 🙂
He had to copy my pose.
Tried my very first poke bowl at Pokinometry. Basically chirashi type of dish but this place served it Chipotle style. You seleted what you wanted in the bowl. I had half rice half salad with salmon, tuna and yellowtail. Followed toppings like sesame seeds, ginger, wasabi, tobiko, etc. Absolutely DELICIOUS! I seriously wish I could have this all day every day. Also, it’s pretty healthy 😉
Nights out, lights on
Dessert at Snow Station! Green tea and Thai tea snow shaved ice with blueberries and granola on top. Hmmmm hmmm yummy!
Then of course, our 2nd dessert. Afters. They’ve got some amazing ice cream flavors like Cookie Monster which is just like the blue he is. Jasmine green milk tea which tastes exactly like it should. Milky buns though, OMG! Basically a donut, stuffed with some ice cream!
Yep. That’s it! It’s a great combo! We got the Jasmine green milk tea. We got a glazed donut. The donut comes out hot, they fill it with your choice of ice cream flavor. The coldness of the ice cream will somewhat harden up the warm donut which makes it a bit frozen and chewy. PERFECT! I totally want to go back and get another one!
Another day in sunny LA. Spent the day at the beach! But first, lunch! The Crab Cooker for some seafood! Clam chowder is more tomato based than cream based. I like!
Fish and shrimp and scallops combo
Newport beach is beautiful! Absolutely loved it here and the surrounding houses nearby!
Newport beach might just be my favorite beach that we visited during this trip.
Peace in a very blue sky. No Clouds whatsoever.
Sailboat! Saw some dolphins too!~
Seagulls are bigger than they appear.
Not sure if you can see it, but there are gold speckles in the water!! It was so pretty!
And of course, more poke! After a day in the sun and being thrown around by the waves, more poke from Bear Flag. We got 1lb of salmon and tuna. It was a lot.
Another start to the day. In the morning we got some pitaya (dragon fruit) bowls as our source of energy to do a hike at Runyon Canyon later. Blueberries, banana, and coconut on top. Yummm.
You can see the Hollywood sign up there!
Was a very nice and chill hike. Not too strenuous or hardcore, although we were going at a pretty fast pace.
Downtown LA in the distance through all that smog.
After finishing the hike, went to a friends recommendation. The Griddle Cafe, where the pancakes come huge enough to feed a family of five. Goodness. Portions are very big there. Bring a big stomach or just share.
You’ve got some from the 1950’s and some that were just made this year. Coolio.
Wilson and Tom Hanks. The perfect pair.
TCL Chinese Theatre
Just driving through some Beverly Hills neighborhoods.
This house was amazing. Cottage feel and look with vines growing all over it.
Visited the LACMA. Not really, since they closed right when we got there. So we just played around in the Urban Lights scene.
Trying to be artsy.
